Launch Week #3 Roundup!
The third week of my virtual tour celebrating the release of My Dearest Mr. Darcy on January 1 is past. A part of me is happy to have all the blogs written and interviews done and to see the light at the end of the crazy tunnel. Another part of me will be sad to leave the excitement behind. I, of course, will continue to edit and write, keeping all of you updated on the latest happenings in Sharon Lathan’s life. But I won’t get to partake of another blog tour until October when Romancing Mr. Darcy is launched. This is rather sad!
So, lets try to make this last week AWESOME!!
First, remember the continuing contests for sets of all 3 novels

Today it is my turn to blog at the Casablanca Authors site. We are such a great group of writers and I hope all of you will come on over to check out the eclectic novels Sourcebooks publishes. Keeping in theme with the historical blogs I have been writing, I shared some information on seabathing during the Regency.

Last Saturday was the monthly meeting of our local Romance Writers of America (RWA) group – The Yosemite Romance Writers. I was asked to be the guest speaker! I gave a rousing, motivating talk on marketing and promotion for authors with pages of tips on branding and creating a website. Then I honestly discussed the highs and lows of the publishing process, detailing what to expect step-by-step. Everyone had a great time and I am pleased to say that several of our determined future-published writers have their websites running! Go Micole, Ginny, and Sarah! Aren’t we a great looking bunch?
For those of you who missed the news about my article in the Fresno Bee {Talk section, or who could not read the tiny print on the scanned paged in the post down the blog, the article was reprinted in the online “Fresno Famous” magazine. Nice, huh? It is the exact same article as perfectly written by Jill Coppler, but with a different photo.
The rest of my week was spent listening to the constant downpour of rain that we are receiving here in the Central Valley of California while trying to stay warm, and also beginning the edits on Romancing Mr. Darcy. Yes, you heard that right! I will talk more on what is happening with future novels in the weeks ahead.
And speaking of future novels, let me again express how appreciative I am of the continued support of satisfied readers. I want all of you to know how precious and encouraging your emails and comments are, especially when those who dislike my happily-ever-after tale continue to be so vocal. Please take the time to share your positive opinions with ladies you know and on review places (B&N, Goodreads, Amazon) and anywhere else. Help keep the Darcys alive for a long while to come so that everyone who likes Austen and happy endings will have the chance to read my series.
Thanks for sharing these gorgeous pics Sharon and May and Kathy!
Matthew looks as scumptious as ever, I so wish I was in that part of the world to experience a live performance by the talented Matthew!
Your wonderful essays and interviews are very entertaining and all the praises for my fav author so well deserved.
Love the pics of the writing group and yes your novels do look spectacular! (Believe it or not I am still waiitng for my copy from Amazon, although we have had postal trouble over Christmas so that could be the reason).
I am sure you won’t have time to be sad Sharon, we know how quickly last year flew by, I am sure October will be here before we know it!
Keep up all the great work, I look forward to reading all the entertaining essays!!

He is such a fine looking man! Had to share the joy with my friends. 🙂
Kathy, I do wish it were possible. Alas it just isn’t in my budget this time around. 🙁 Thanks for keeping me up-to-date on what Matthew is up to. You’re the best!
Thanks, ladies, for the congrats! I wish the Darcys were truly everywhere. LOL! Sourcebooks and I am doing our best to get my sweet stories out to the world. Now if everyone who agrees will help spread the word then more will hear of how great these novels are. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
Hiya!!
Fun pics, aren’t they?
Not too late to decide if….???
Let me know 😉

Dear Sharon,
my congratulations to week 3, wonderful reviews, interviews and blogs.
It´s fascinating to follow you around, it is fun and learning, too.
And most important: The Darcys are everywhere!
Lots of love,
Susanne
OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH Sharon! What yummy pictures of Matthew! Thank you for posting them. It’s nice to see him diversifying his movie/play roles. Always interesting to see what he’s going to do next. Too bad we don’t get a chance to see more of his works on this side of the pond.
Take care and God Bless.
