I haven’t read much of those but I love the Harry Potter books!

I read and enjoyed Tesas and Captain and Kings.. Looking forward to your next blog.

Over the years I have had phases of reading many different genres but now I only read JAFF, specifically stories about Darcy and Elizabeth with the occasional reread of my Georgette Heyer and Dorothy L Sayers books.

I have always loved to read also! I also read most genre, but love historical fiction. When I was in Jr. Hi, I remember reading In Cold Blood by Truman Capote! It was at night, good thing I was snuggling with my mom at that time, (it was cold) cause that is when I got to the part when they were all murdered! Outlander is my all time favorite, have re-read all 8 books several times and waiting with bated breath for #9, which is due in one or two weeks! A big fan of the show also! Belong to several FB groups for it. Have an extensive library at home, but am now weeding and donating alot. Have found that my reading tastes have changed now that I am older and retired. Have alot of romantic historical fiction, but most of those will be donated. Only keeping a few that are favorites. Love your blog.

Hi Sharon – thanks for the blog and the books. You truly are a great reader. I remember reading Cane and Able and the Prodigal Daughter by Jeffrey Archer as a young adult and the Emma Harte saga by Barbara Taylor Bradford. Both of these book sagas tended to be more historical fiction with romance thrown in (as I remember) and were also made into mini-series. Unfortunately I couldn’t get into The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings – too literary and fantasy for me. Now that I’m retired I pretty much only read JAFF, some chick lit and the classics including Jane Austen of course!! –Leslie
