April 23 is fast approaching! That is the date for World Book Night US when close to a million books will be freely given to people who are not big readers or cannot afford books. For more information on WBN and my involvement, read my blog post here:
World Book Night US 2014 & Miss Darcy Falls in Love
This is a wonderful charity event I am deeply honored to be a part of. My novel – Miss Darcy Falls in Love – was chosen as one of the 35 titles for 2014. Yeah! With that honor comes a number of fun media events. I’ll alert to my personal appearances in April once I have more information. WBN.org is making arrangements for activities close to where I live in Kentucky, probably Louisville and/or Versailles. Stay tuned for those announcements.
For the present, this post is to notify everyone that Miss Darcy Falls in Love is the “Friday Reads” on January 31.
Sponsored by World Book Night, “Friday Reads” is a designated day for new readers to start the selected book, as well as established fans to re-read. Then share your thoughts on the World Book Night Facebook Page and/or on Twitter with the #FridayReads hashtag.
