Thank you for posting this information on turf mazes. My ancestors came from Saffron-Walden, which sports a turf maze from the 17th century. The only places I’ve come across such mazes are those associated with churches in France, some in the U.S., and one on the island of Aruba. It leads to a curiosity about what one does as a faith practice when contemplating a maze.
