Sharon! Thank you for sharing your writer’s journey to completing George’s story. You are amazing. I know this book will be loved by all your readers!

George is just as real to me as he can be…I’m quite emotionally invested in your characters. I’m glad that you got the opportunity to share at least part of what you wanted to put into his book. I know we all appreciate the battle you fought to get him on the page, I wish there was some way to make it easier for you! I am immensely thankful for your writing though! Now if I can just find a night to spend with Dr. George…I’ll be a happy girl!

Sharon Lathan

Thank you, Stephanie. You all make it easier on my just by the happiness in reading George’s story. All along I kept my readers in mind, knowing that it was most important to give THEM the story they would want to read. The awareness that my fans would adore reading about George kept me going. So I have all of you to thank for this wonderful celebration! ๐Ÿ˜€

Sharon, This series is wonderful and from the moment you introduced Dr. Darcy the Uncle we all fell in love with him. I’m sure that we felt it, just as you wrote about him. We were hooked and I can’t wait to read about him. Thanks for taking the time for us poor readers to expand his character and I can’t wait to read all about him!! The story sounds wonderful, intriguing and I am giddily excited to pick up the book. Yeah it’s almost here ๐Ÿ™‚ !! ๐Ÿ˜†

Sharon, I knew a bit about your struggles, but not all this. I admire your determination to tell this story, working on this huge, complicated project all while battling a degree of anger and large amount of doubt on several levels. And lets not forget the rest of your life going on at the same time! You have my admiration. Even though you wanted to tell more of George’s story than you could, I know the story you did tell is wonderful.

Sharon Lathan

Ah, thanks Sheri. This is a weird, very tough business. Just another reason why having support from terrific author friends is SO important! I am blessed to have you and my YRW homeys to keep me sane ๐Ÿ˜€

He’s real to me too, as are all of the other characters. I loved that you did Jane Austen justice and kept her characters in tact, while providing them a background story so that we can stop hating them. I love even more that you provided your own characters that somehow get under all of us and we have to know more.

Sharon Lathan

Thank you, Lacey. Certainly part of the fun in writing the Darcy Saga has been enhancing the past and exploring the characters in greater depth. I never tire of that!
