The clever people who brought us The Lizzie Bennet Diaries are at it again! This time they are taking on Jane Austen’s Emma for the interactive community. So excited about this! From the Pemberley Digital website–
Pemberley Digital presents Emma Approved, its highly anticipated full-length adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic Emma. In this series, we follow the iconic Emma Woodhouse, re-imagined as a bold, smart, idealistic, and audacious young female entrepreneur with an expertise in life coaching and matchmaking. Emma partners up with lifelong friend Alex Knightley, whose straight, logical, business mind clashes against Emma constantly, yet is exactly what she needs. The series is developed by Bernie Su.
This is the first episode of Emma Approved~~
What fun! As of today there are three episodes posted on YouTube, so not too late to get hooked on the series. I’ll share relevant links in a moment, but if you are one of the few Austen fans in the world who doesn’t know what any of this is, Boy! You are missing out! Rather than drone on here, I encourage you to visit the home page of Pemberley Digital where all of it is explained–

There you can read all about the various projects and the impact they have had. And you will see links to Emma Approved and The Lizzie Bennet Diaries (which are AWESOME!). In additional to all of this, Pemberley Digital has also modernized, and completed, Jane Austen’s unfinished novel Sanditon. The video tale stars Gigi Darcy (yes, that is Georgiana) who was introduced in The Lizzie Bennet Diaries. I just saw this myself – a bit behind in the latest fun stuff – and can’t wait to get caught up. As a teaser, this was the first small bit posted back in May–
So much to enjoy! Now I’ll list some of the main links, but be sure to surf around because there is SO much going on with these stories on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and several dedicated websites.
