Great interview, Sharon. Before your books I had read other P&P continuances but now I find that all the other books just don’t touch me like yours do. (Not to mention a little confusing to get an entire story line out of your head when it’s already there!). My mom and I just booked a trip to England for March 2012 and it’s your books that have inspired me to see in person what I have imagined so clearly thanks to your books. We only have 4 days so we’re not going to get to Chatham but some equally as lovely palaces in the Cotswolds are on our list. Thanks for all your writing! I’m anxiously awaiting the next one!

And if I had a blog, I’d totally link to this. 🙂

Sharon Lathan

Lynn, How fabulous that you are heading to England! That is still my dream destination. We had hoped to make it this year but a wedding intervened. Maybe next year will be my golden year. I know the places I would HAVE to see, but there are also about a couple dozen others I would badly WANT to see. I know it is impossible to visit them all though.

Have fun! And thank you for your kind words regarding my novels. I am happy that you have enjoyed them.

Wow! I came over here to put a little comment about another gem from Sharon, and note there are 45 comments! That says it all about your writing skills Sharon, everyone gets so much enjoyment and this interview with Miss Darcy is no exception!

Sharon Lathan

Thanks to everyone. I appreciate the kind words. I had great fun writing this interview and giving Georgiana a chance to shine. She is a lovely young lady – my Georgiana, that is – with a playful sense of humor. I hope everyone loves the life and love I have given her.

Stephanie L

As usual, I enjoyed it! I am anxiously awaiting the new book. So ready for Georgiana’s story. Yours are my favorites of the JAFF so I’m always ready for more!

Lúthien84

Great interview, Sharon. I love it to bits and can’t wait to find out about Miss Darcy’s adventures in Paris.

Blog about your giveaway here. Austenesque Extravaganza is also posted at my blog. I will post in my FB later.

As an aside, it’s been awhile since I last visited your blog and I see that you have change the design and template. I think it is the same template as AuAu but with different designs and images. I love it.

Sharon Lathan

Thanks for sharing this on your blog, Luthien. Cross promo is wonderful and very helpful.

Good eye on the website! I designed my website and Austen Authors using the same program – Artiseer – so the general layout is similar. I had fun being as creative as possible!

Monica P

I really like Randall and Kitty! I love how they met and that he calls her “kitten”. I hope to see more of them.

Esther Ann

I really enjoyed this! Posted a link to my Facebook page 🙂

I was just poking around in your website, and have to say that I LOVE all of the photo galleries!

Monica P

I just love stories about Georgiana. She is one of my favorite minor characters (Col Fitz and Kitty being the others). I love the Darcy Saga and can’t wait to read Miss Darcy Falls in Love.

The Austenesque Extravaganza has been so much fun! And I look in at Austen Authors pretty much daily. It’s almost anniversary party time. 😀

Sam @ The Little Munchkin Reader

Sharon, I have a question!

Have you thought about a novel for Col Fitzwilliam and Lady Simone?

Nancy Kelley

Very nice, Sharon! I love the way Georgiana dances around the story of Wickham, and the whole concept of Jane’s cousin going around interviewing people is delightful.

Regina Jeffers

Sharon, great minds run along the same lines. My new novel is entitled The Disappearance of Georgiana Darcy. It’s a mystery, very much in the order of The Phantom of Pemberley. Therefore, we shan’t be competing. I do so hate it when that happens. Thanks for the lovely excerpt.

Margaret

I loved reading this post! I happen to be a fan of Miss Georgiana and I’ve often thought that a novel from her point of view would be very interesting. So needless to say I would love to win a copy. Thank you for the post and giveaway! I also follow Austen Authors frequently so I’ll keep Sept 5th marked on my calender!

Deborah

I’ve read and greatly enjoyed all of your books, Sharon. I can’t wait for “Miss Darcy Falls in Love.” She’s certainly grown as a character in your books, and it will be interesting to see her develop even more. The interviews with Jane Austen’s cousin are so clever!

Deborah

That would be great! I love Dr. Darcy. As a former reporter, I know he would be a great interview, with lots of colorful quotes. I would ask him about India (of course) and his pioneering medical views — and his opinion of men’s fashion!

Lacey

I’ve always loved a good sequel to Pride and Prejudice, but your novels are spellbinding. I get trapped in the novel and completely ignore people around me. In between the last book and the upcoming book, I have decided to read the entire Jane Austen collection by date of publication. I’ve been quite literally obsessed. Your books are fantastic and I’m counting down the days till November! Thanks for these little extras.

Kelli

Lovely interview! I am looking forward to reading Georgiana’s story!!=)

Lovely interview 😀 I can’t wait to read this one (it is sitting on my shelf, soon soon)

Cindy

Sharon,
Everything you write blows me away! Matt says when I’m reading one of your books; I have a look on my face like I’m not even present…that I’ve travelled in time back to Pemberley and am the proverbial “fly on the wall”.
Thank you for this new book. I’ve had it pre-order since it was announced and I just know it will be fabulous! <3
