I HAVE REALLY ENJOYED YOUR JOURNEY THROUGH THE LIVES OF MR DARCY AND LIZZY. I HAVE READ THE BOOKS SEVERAL TIMES AND EACH TIME I LEARNED SOMETHING NEW. IN YOUR LAST BOOK, THE TROUBLE WITH MR. DARCY, I WAS SO CAUGHT UP IN THE RESCUE OF LIZZY AND ALEXANDER. THAT WAS AN AMAZING STORY. I CAN’T WAIT TILL YOU WRITE YOUR NEXT BOOK ABOUT THEIR LIFE AND JOURNEY. YOU ARE AN AMAZING WRITER!! GOD BLESS

After I read Pride and Prejudice, I found out there were other writers making sequels to this great novel. I came upon your first novel and instantly feel in love with them. I can never put your books done once they are in my hands!! As a young reader I cannot wait for more of your novels!! I have not went to other sequels that other writers wrote on pride and prejudice. I am too attached to your work. Can’t wait for the next novel!! Jane Austen would truly be pround!!

I am a big fan of the Twilight Saga books and your books sucked me in body and soul. Just like the Twilights, I could not put them down until I finished each on. I can not wait until the next book.

  • Jane Jones says:

Have already pre-ordered your November book on Georgeanna. But do hope you’ll do another on Darcy and Liz.

  • Britney says:

I can’t wait until November! Your books are so beautifully written. They capture the beauty of regency England! Georgette Heyer is one of my favorite authors who write in that period. The two of you are my favorites!!!! I would love to know when your next book about Elizabeth is coming. Also please, please, please write some more books when you are done with the Darcy project! As much as I love Mrs. Heyer, she doesn’t add the intimacy aspect to her books. It misses showing how that altered relationships in that period. I would love to read any story you come up with!

That is so sweet! And it makes me very happy to know my novels are a pleasant escape. We all need that from time to time. And I remember those days with young kids! Not that bigger kids are any less time consuming. LOL! Thanks for the message, Susan.

I’m hooked! Honestly did not think I would say that ever about your books as they are quite different than what I am used to. A friend re-introduced me to Pride & Prejudice after a 45+ years absence from school and I can’t begin to convey the hours of enjoyment they have bought me. The first 3 in the series have been totally engulfing and page-turning. Would you consider having your books printed in large type for us more mature readers? Look forward to whatever is next from you. Thanks for the entertainment and awe-inspiring descriptions making me feel as if I were “along for the ride”!

    • Sharon Lathan says:

Thank you so much, Patty! I hope you continue to enjoy each one of my novels as thoroughly as the first 3. I fear I have no control over how the novels are printed. That is up to my publisher, Sourcebooks. I always encourage people to write to them with requests. If enough are received then perhaps they will make the effort to print larger, or do audio, etc.

Sharon, can you let us know that the next Lizzy/William novel is indeed in the works? Waiting, without hope, to see where you take them (and us) next is hard. Just finished a 3rd read of all four books, after a year long respite and it was wonderful to be caught-up again with Lizzy and Darcy. Also just recently finished the Shades of Grey trilogy, in which your Darcy influence can be seen. You and EL James both create great characters and story-lines that are totally absorbing and great fun to read. Thanks much.

    • Sharon Lathan says:

Mary, Please do not give up hope! I can’t assure you that a new Lizzy/Darcy novel is “in the works” but I have not totally given up on them and I am thinking of ideas. I just barely finished The Passions of Dr. Darcy and expect edits any day so am keeping a bit focused on that. All I can promise is that I will keep writing with my same joy and what I hope is interesting storytelling. Hopefully that will be appreciated by my fans even if not centered on the Darcys.

Thanks for the support and enthusiasm. I really do appreciate it!! Sharon
