I am not a funny gal!

All this month the Casablanca Authors will be celebrating humor at our joint blog. I am sure we will dream up a slough of ways to talk about what tickles our fancy in the days and weeks ahead, and I do encourage you to add our blog to your daily list to see what fun we are having. Today it is my turn and since I readily admit that I am NOT an inherently funny gal, I decided to let several of my characters speak for me. So come on over and read the excerpts I have given as proof that humor reigns within the pages of my novels as a normal course of life.

  1. I totally agree with Esther An and Susanne Sharon!!!

You may not think of yourself as a funny girl however you very cleverly use your wit, In many wonderful moments throughout your novels and in particular with the eccentric and lovable Dr George Darcy! Not to mention the banter between cousins Darcy and Richard!!! Should we go on?
I can’t wait to read the article!

  2. Dear Sharon,

Esther Ann is absolutely right. I remember these passages very well, too. As every other word in your books they are fantastic!

I am not a "funny gal" as well, but I appreciate good humour in a book or in a conversation. And you know how to include these fine humour in your books. Great work!

    Lots of love,
    Susanne

  3. Nice article Sharon. I remember those passages quite well from your books.

You may not consider yourself "a funny gal"; but you do interject humorous passages into your writing. That humor has to come from someone or somewhere, doesn’t it? Perhaps there is a little bit of you, after all, in those humorous tidbits your throw into your stories? What do you think?

You do quite well with writing all your articles! Each one gets better and better. Keep up the good work.

    Take care and God Bless.

    Esther

I love to hear from you!
