Darcy and Elizabeth are my favorite Jane Austen characters. I do love that they seem to find perfect gifts for each other. I have six of your novels and Scenes Jane Austen Never Wrote in which you have an entry. Unfortunately I read some of these before I began writing reviews and have a goal of going back, rereading and posting reviews for all those I read earlier. I have to say I like the fact that Darcy doesn’t try to dictate to Elizabeth how she should act, whether or not it is appropriate to wander and have hems which are 6″ deep in mud. And she recognizes how hard it is to manage his estate, his investments, etc. Thanks for sharing.

Brilliant characters ?? My favourites ??
They love finding just the perfect gift to give each other that has a lot of meaning. Such as the painting that looks like the meadow where Darcy proposes. That leads me to the fact that Darcy is as virtuous as Elizabeth. So many wonderful aspects to these characters that make them come alive. Emotions and passions run soul deep. ?

Everytime I read any of your books Sharon it is just like stepping into their world. Will always be my favourites. Love it!
I put hearts in the first reply but I can only see question marks. That’s odd. So I will send them this way <3 <3

Love it, it’s bringing back all my memories of them throughout your saga. I can’t wait to re-read them once my busy season at work is over!

I love all the details you give to your characters as this makes them so real. Especially accompanied by your gallery.
Darcy is so romantic and absolutely devoted to Elizabeth and their children. As proven he will protect them no matter what.
Elizabeth has a struggle to overcome her love of independence which caused her to wander the woods and fields of Hertfordshire and learn to be the (slightly) more proper mistress of Pemberley
